Born in France

Musical studies at l'Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, and at the  CIIM with Laurent Cugny  and J.C Levinson 1980-1991 .

 

1993 : win first prize at the tremplin du Val d'Oise with the Florence melnotte 

Quartet.

1994: win first prize at the concours Jazz Sous les Pommiers .

 

1994: Second prize at the Concours national De la Défense.

 

1995.: win first prize at the Tremplin jazz d'Avignon.

 

1996: Tour  in Italy with Europe Jazz network , in Europe and Sénégal with the Four  Roses band .Concerts and workshops with l'Orchestre national du Sénégal.

 

1997: win first prize at the tremplin jazz de Lorient.

Tour with the Florence Melnotte quartet at the petit Journal Montparnasse, Duc des Lombards, Festival d'Avignon, Festival d'Amiens .

 

1998-1999: teaches at the Fairfield University and Neighborhood school of music  (connecticut ) until 2004.

Concerts in Russia with Four Roses

 

2000-2004: Tour in South Africa, South America, Mali, Burkina faso and USA with Four Roses

 

2005-2007 teaches at the Conservatoire populaire de Genève

Concerts  and workshops in Roumania with Brian Torff and members of the IAJE.

 

2008-2009: release of the Cd Another Great day  with Brian Torff , performances in France , Switzerland and USA.

 

2010-2012: release of the CD Les Mystères de l'Ouest  with Jean-Jacques pedretti and Nelson Schaer .concerts in Switzerland , at the Festival de l'AMR.

 

 

2012-2014: Concerts in solo  in France, in Genèva and at the Festival de l'AMR.

release of the CD  Whynotmelnotte .
